SUMMARY:Mary Pat Wager Presents "Remnant / Revelation"
DESCRIPTION:Remnant / Revelation\nIn this solo exhibition\, assemblage sculptor Mary Pat Wager presents a body of steel sculptures and wall pieces constructed from industrial\, agrarian\, and vintage materials — objects sourced from junkyards\, estates\, and the quiet edges of a century that built everything…and preserved almost nothing. Through welding\, deconstruction\, and reconstruction\, Wager forces these remnants into new configurations\, new conversations\, and new meaning. \nThe work does not mourn what was discarded. It interrogates it. Each piece asks what we chose to throw away — and what that choice reveals about us. \nIn Wager’s hands\, a remnant is never only what it was. It becomes a record. A relic. A mirror held up to a culture in the act of forgetting itself. The revelation is not in the transformation of the material — it is in what the material was already trying to say. \nIn the artist’s words\, “I work across metal\, wood\, clay\, and found objects\, often combining them in ways that collapse past and present. The histories embedded in these materials are not erased when I use them; they are layered\, distorted\, and ultimately woven into something new.” \nRemnant / Revelation invites the viewer to reconsider the boundary between waste and witness\, between the end of one story and the beginning of another. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n About the Artist\nMary Pat Wager is a sculptor whose work transforms found and salvaged materials — metal\, wood\, clay and the accumulated objects of ordinary life — into three-dimensional forms charged with memory\, history\, and meaning. Working primarily through assemblage\, welding\, casting and fabrication\, she creates sculpture that collapses the distance between past and present\, asking viewers to reckon with what objects carry and what they leave behind. \nWager’s work is held in numerous public and private collections and has been exhibited nationally and internationally across more than four decades of sustained practice. Corporate collections include Blue Cross/Blue Shield\, General Electric\, Key Bank\, McDonald’s Corporation\, Omni Corporation\, and Phoenix Life Insurance. Her work is also held in permanent collections at Castle Breitenbach Sculpture Park\, the Quick Center for the Arts at St. Bonaventure University\, the Schenectady Museum\, and the State University of New York at Albany. \n \n \n \n \n \n Artist’s Reception: Saturday\, July 11th\, 4:00 – 6:00 PM\n \n Learn more\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Courthouse Gallery\n1 Lower Amherst Street\nLake George\, NY 12845\n518-668-2616\nHours: \nWednesday – Friday: 12:00 – 5:00 PM\nSaturday: 12:00 – 4:00 PM\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n THANK YOU!\n \n \n \n \n \n Throughout the year\, we offer 17 exhibitions of work by emerging and established artists in our Courthouse Gallery and in partner locations throughout\nLake George. \nWe are able to do this because of the support of our sponsors and LGAP members.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n This program is supported by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.

SUMMARY:Ghost Town Blues Band CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER
DESCRIPTION:THIS SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER\n\n\nA dynamic blues-rock group known for blending conventional blues with New Orleans brass\, Southern soul\, and improvisational jams\n  \nRecently headlining the blues stage at The Montreal Jazz Festival and appearing at The Lucerne Blues Festival in Switzerland\, Beale Street’s latest success story\, Tennessee Music Award Winner\, 5-time Blues Blast Music Award Nominee and International Blues Challenge Runner-up is Ghost Town Blues Band. Not your grandpa’s blues band\, their live show has been captivating audiences in the U.S.\, Canada and Europe with their “second-line horn entrance\,” cigar box guitars and electric push brooms to Allman Brothers style jams. \nThe band’s stage show and energy is unparalleled and has been called the best new\, live blues shows in the world. \nHorns\, harmonies and homegrown instruments combined with an energetic and roots rich festival set makes Ghost Town Blues Band one of the “must see live bands on the festival scene today.” Both Garrett Marshall behind the drums and Matt Karner on the bass guitar are a punishing rhythm section behind multi-instrumentalist/frontman Matt Isbell with raunchy cigar box guitar licks and raspy “Dr. John-like\, whiskey and gravel-soaked vocals.” With the addition of Grayson Smith on B3\, the grooves go from fresh to funky as the band gains more notoriety in the blues festival and Roots circuit. Ghost Town Blues Band has performed all across US\, Europe and Canada at over 175+ festivals and will announce almost a half-dozen international tours in 2026. \nGTBB’s new album Shine debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. \n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n “GTBB shows what can happen when the past is distilled through young sensibilities\, voices\, and instruments.
