Lake George Journey – Family Friendly Book Launch and Reception

Friday, August 15th from 4–6 PM

Join us at the Courthouse Gallery – 1 Lower Amherst Street (across from Duffy’s) for a special celebration of Lake George Journey, a locally inspired book for all generations of residents and visitors who love Lake George. 

Lake George Journey features I-Spy artwork from seven local artists, short stories that entertain, and fun facts that educate. The book was brought to life with the support of family, friends, and organizations such as the Lake George Land Conservancy, the Lake George Association, the Waterkeeper, and The Arts Project. This project was made possible by a LARAC Grant.

This family-friendly event will include:

• See original illustrations created by Kathy Becker, Chris Quinn, Wendy Soliday, Andrew Thompson, Shay DeRusso, Ottavia Huang, and Shaundra Bartlett. Many artists will be in attendance to share their creative process.
• Live reading and book signings by authors Tamara and Walter Jacobi (and family)
• I-Spy fun for kids and all generations
• Refreshments and a book giveaway, too!
