The Lake George Arts Project is deeply committed to bringing people together to hear and see great music. Our Jazz at the Lake program isn’t just one of our favorite events, the magic of this weekend of concerts is created by having amazing musicians perform with one of the most beautiful lakes in the country as the backdrop. Even if we were able to present in a traditional sense this year, it just wouldn’t be the same. Keeping artists, the audience, staff, and volunteers safe is our top priority and is a responsibility we take seriously. Through many conversations, and with the input of artists, stakeholders and the audience, the Lake George Arts Project Staff and Board of Directors have made the unprecedented decision to cancel our traditional Jazz at the Lake program for this year. We are instead presenting a series of virtual events we are calling Jazz at the Lake Reimagined that will stream renown Jazz musicians straight to your living room.
