Artist’s Reception: Marypat Wager “Remnant / Revelation”

About the Reception
Join the Lake George Arts Project at the Courthouse Gallery on July 11th to celebrate the opening of Remnant / Revelation, a solo exhibition of striking assemblage sculptures and wall pieces by acclaimed artist Mary Pat Wager.
The opening reception is a wonderful opportunity to meet the artist, discuss her unique creative process, and mingle with fellow members of our regional arts community. Light refreshments will be served.
About the Exhibition
In Remnant / Revelation, Mary Pat Wager explores the intersection of history, industrial waste, and cultural memory. Her heavy steel and mixed-material sculptures are meticulously constructed from vintage, industrial, and agrarian objects rescued from the quiet edges of the last century—sourced from junkyards, estate sales, and abandoned sites.
Through a laborious process of deconstruction, welding, and reconfiguration, Wager transforms these forgotten remnants of our past into profound, textured witnesses of human history. Her work does not merely mourn what our culture has cast aside; it interrogates it, asking what our choices to discard ultimately reveal about who we are.
Remnant / Revelation will be on display at the Courthouse Gallery from July 8th through August 8th
