Bassist, Dylan Perrillo (from Hot Club of Saratoga and the Dylan Perrillo Quartet) will be joined by NYC-based guitarist Brad Brose for a one-of-a-kind jazz experience that will have fans of gypsy and swing jazz moving in their seats.
About Dylan Perrillo: Dylan grew up in the sunshiny village of Voorheesville, New York where was he fortunate enough to have participated in their wonderful music program beginning in primary school. Originally having played guitar at the age of seven, he found that his skills were rendered useless when his older brother, Tyler, began playing guitar as well. Thus, it became clear to the young lad that switching over to the electric bass was necessary. When Dylan entered his studies at Schenectady County Community College he began to learn to play the upright bass and began playing with musicians from around the capital district. Since then, he has had the pleasure of performing with some really great people from all over the country.
About Brad Brose: Originally from Hollywood, California, Brad Brose has performed with some of the best swing musicians that the U.S. has to offer. After playing in swing dance clubs and for festivals across the USA, Brad decided to move to France to study Europe’s greatest contribution to jazz: Jazz Manouche. Now based in Paris, he plays his gypsy jazz guitar along with the most respected jazz manouche artists such as Tchavolo Schmitt, Stochelo Rosenberg, and others in the all of the legendary gypsy jazz clubs and festivals across Europe.
