Call For Artists 2026

The Annual Call for Artists & Exhibition Proposals for 2026 is open!
The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 31, 2025.

About The Courthouse Gallery:
The Lake George Arts Project’s Courthouse Gallery presents 8 exhibitions annually by national, regional, emerging and established contemporary visual artists who work in all media.  The Mission of our gallery is to provide exhibition opportunities to emerging and professional artists, with preference given to work created within the last two years, and to experimental or non-traditional work.

Submission Fee:
$0 – The Lake George Arts Project is committed to ensuring our opportunities for artists are accessible to all and there is no fee to submit your work

Submission Portal Opens: December 1, 2024

Deadline for Submissions: January 31, 2025 at 11:59pm

Selection Process:
All submissions are reviewed by a jury of three professionals working in the field (artists, arts administrators, curators, etc…) Jurors meet to review submissions in February & March and selections are made in early April.  All artists will receive notification of the status of their submission at the end of April 2025.

Exhibition Stipends:
All artists selected to exhibit their work will receive a $300 stipend, plus an additional $100 stipend from the Laura Von Rosk Legacy Fund, paid at the conclusion of their exhibition.

The Submission:

2. Create a Submittable Account
3.  One logged into Submittable, you will be brought to the Exhibition Proposals 2026 application
You will need:
• 10 to 12 images (Formats accepted for upload: JPG or TIFF)
• Your Resume / CV
• Your Artist Statement / Bio
4. Answer each question and upload all documents
5. Click Submit
